Who we are

Ming of the Avenue, 54 Avenue Road, Bexleyheath, Kent DA7 4EG, is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach us on 020 8304 7227 or at the restaurant address above.

02

What we collect

When you request a table we ask for your name, telephone number and email address, and the details of your visit: date, time, number of guests and any special requirements or notes you choose to give us, such as allergies, a celebration or a set-menu request.

We don't ask for payment details when you book, and we don't collect anything else about you through the booking form.

03

Why we use it

We use your details only to manage your booking: to review your request, confirm, change or cancel it, to contact you about your table, and to pass your requirements to the kitchen and front of house so we can look after you properly.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing or to build profiles.

04

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept while your reservation is live and for a short period afterwards, so we can answer questions about your visit. We then delete them as part of routine housekeeping.

05

Who can see it

Only the people who run the restaurant, and the service providers whose software runs this website and sends our booking emails, have access to your booking details. They act on our instructions and only to provide those services.

06

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us on 020 8304 7227 and we'll help. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
